D.R.O.N.E invites all students from Spanish universities to participate in SPAIN – DRONE WORLD UNIVERSITY 2017. A national technological event that promotes the design, management and manufacture of an experimental prototype drone.
We invite students to form a constructor team that challenges its theoretical knoledge and habilities in a particular industrial environment, to achieve a high performance drone.
Requierements to participate:
1. Be an student in an spanish university
2. Form a team of maximum 4 members*
* Maximum 2 teams per university.
Two team categories:
Assembling: Builder team that only assembles parts, mechanical or electronics.
Developer: Builder team that has the technical capabilities to develop estructural parts and control software.
How does it work?
The competition is divided in three phases:
Preliminar test

Two challenges to face in the first test:
1. Each member of the theam must join our DRONE University Community.
2. The team must register itself in Spain - Drone World University

The challenge lies in the conceptual approach and development of your project -to manufacture a functional prototype Drone - and to demonstrate that it is capable of beating the highest technical quality standards, with the shortest possible time at very low cost.

Once the project is submitted online, the constructor team is prepared for the challenges of the flight test. The challenges are several between performance and endurance. In addition, your pilot’s ability to control the manufactured Drone prototype will play one of the most determining role in the project’s success.
